Like us humans, Angels are also expressions of and instruments of God!

Unlike us, Angels are spiritual beings who have never been incarnated in physical form. The modern philosopher, Mortimer J Adler, refers to them as Minds Without Bodies!

Most simply put, Angels are highly evolved souls who have taken on the commitment within the Divine structure to be messengers, guardians and teachers of spirit who serve between the Divine force and incarnated beings -- humans.

Why are Angels necessary?

Let’s look at it this way. Electricity is brought to us on high-powered lines flowing with many thousands of volts. But before that electricity is brought into our homes, there must be a transformer to step it down to a level (110 volts) where we can use it. Otherwise, if we plugged the TV directly into the high power, it would blow up and we’d be burned to a crisp!

When it comes to Divine Spirit (God), the power and energy are way beyond our meager capacity to even remotely comprehend. Plugging into it directly before we are properly prepared and ready would be disastrous. We simply would be blown out of existence.

Angels are the transforming bridge between the incredible power of Divine Spirit and us. Eventually, we can prepare ourselves to the point where we can be directly connected to  Divine Spirit.

There are those who have attained that extraordinary level of beingness – Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed and others – but to attain that level takes many lifetimes, innumerable spiritual lessons and a great deal of commitment to achieve. Achieving that level also brings a great deal of responsibility for then you take on the task of elevating humanity.

So, those who reach that level are very, very few! The rest of us must rely on help and guidance and protection from those who have dedicated themselves to that task – The Angels.
